Reference Standards & Certifications
Our Design Guidelines.
The regulatory standards and compliance guidelines that govern our engineering and design processes. When requested or for highly complex projects, we collaborate with external engineering firms, selected based on specific project requirements.
- EN 1856-1 / 2 Specifies requirements for metal chimneys (flues). Part 1 covers system products; Part 2 focuses on metal liners and connecting flue pipes.
- EN 13384 Thermal and fluid dynamics calculation methods for chimneys and flues, utilized to verify correct dimensioning and guarantee safe system draft.
- EN 1991 (Eurocode 1) Defines actions on structures (loads). In ventilation applications, it is essential for calculating the mechanical resistance of chimneys and supports against wind, snow, and self-weight loads.
- EN 15259 Regulates air quality and stationary source emissions; establishes requirements for measurement sections, sites, objectives, plans, and measurement reports.
- Regulation (EU) 2024/1834 (ErP 2026) Defines the new mandatory energy efficiency standards (Ecodesign) applicable from July 24, 2026, for industrial fans between 125 W and 500 kW.
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC The primary directive governing safety requirements and CE marking for industrial fans and complex extraction systems.
- UNI EN ISO 5801 Technical standard for aerodynamic performance testing (measurement of flow rate and pressure) of industrial fans.
- UNI EN 12101-7 Harmonized standard for mandatory CE marking of smoke and heat control ducts.
- EN 1672-2 Specific standard for the food industry establishing hygiene and design requirements (“Hygienic Design”) to prevent contamination.
- UNI EN ISO 14159 Defines hygiene requirements for machinery design, applicable to industrial fans handling food-grade vapors.
- ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU Mandatory directive for ducts and fans engineered to operate in potentially explosive atmospheres.
- EN ISO 21904-1 (formerly 15012-4) Specifies requirements for capture and filtration systems handling welding fumes and similar manufacturing processes.
- D.Lgs. 152/2006 (Italian Environmental Act) Consolidated Environmental Law regulating atmospheric emissions and exhaust point specifications. (Note: Typically left as D.Lgs. 152/2006 to reference Italian jurisdiction for international clients).
- D.Lgs. 81/2008 (Italian OHS Act) Occupational health and safety regulation mandating localized source capture of hazardous gases or dusts.
- Regulation (EU) 305/2011 (CPR) Construction Products Regulation, serving as the legal basis for the CE marking of flues and connecting flue pipes

A global presence in plants that matter!
Active installations across five continents…
…Every solution we develop stems from a robust foundation of real-world cases. Today, we boast active installations across five continents, ranging from European industrial hubs to challenging non-EU operational environments. Although the strategic nature of these plants and strict non-disclosure agreements prevent us from disclosing the names of our partners, the global deployment of our technology stands as definitive proof of our capability to meet global technical standards.
